Hark! The Fantastic Vagabonds are landing in Paris to bring you ‘Parallel Fantasies’ – a duo exhibition by its two founders and world-class troublemakers, Kaya and WOLFED.
Kaya and WOLFED are a married couple of almost 20 years. They’ve been working together on dozens of creative projects from video games to fine art, yet this is their first time exhibiting personal work side-by-side.
The exhibition combines their latest obsessions: Kaya’s stream of consciousness drawings and WOLFED’s surreal Japanese schoolgirl photography – the obvious ingredients to a happy marriage.

WOLFED is an Estonian artist whose work combines high-energy worldbuilding with contemporary photography. Following a fifteen-year career as an Art Director in the video games industry, he now directs his creative energy towards being an idiot.
He will be showcasing his work ‘School Girls Being Bad-Ass’, a collection of extreme rascality from his travels in Japan.
KAYA is a multimedia artist whose interests lie in sculpting, fibre arts, and stream of consciousness drawings. In addition to creating the pieces themselves, she records the quiet moments of making and shares the videos on Youtube.
Born in Finland, Kaya currently lives and works in Estonia. She explores an intuitive approach of happy accidents, fantastic associations, and the magic bordering the ordinary.
She will be showcasing her work ‘Phantasms’, a collection of dream-like scenes and surreal apparitions.

Avis ! Les Vagabonds Fantastiques débarquent à Paris avec « Parallel Fantasies », une exposition en duo de ses deux fondateurs et les trublions de renommée mondiale, Kaya et WOLFED.
Mariés depuis près de 20 ans, Kaya et WOLFED ont collaboré sur des dizaines de projets créatifs, des jeux vidéo jusqu’aux beaux-arts, mais c'est la première fois qu'ils exposent ensemble leurs œuvres personnelles respectives.
L'exposition réunit leurs dernières obsessions : les dessins spontanés de Kaya et les photographies surréalistes d’écolières japonaises de WOLFED – les ingrédients d'un mariage heureux, sans aucun doute.

WOLFED est un artiste estonien dont le travail mêle un univers haute énergie à la photographie contemporaine. Après quinze ans comme directeur artistique dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo, il consacre désormais son énergie créative à soit faire l’idiot .
Il présentera son œuvre « Écolières durs à cuire », une collection de clichés déjantés pris lors de ses voyages au Japon.
KAYA est une artiste multimédia dont les intérêts se portent sur la sculpture, l'art textile et le dessin spontané. Outre la création des œuvres elles-mêmes, elle filme les moments de calme qui jalonnent son processus créatif et partage ces vidéos sur YouTube.
Née en Finlande, Kaya vit et travaille actuellement en Estonie. Elle explore une approche intuitive, nourrie par les rencontres fortuites, les associations d'idées oniriques et la magie qui se cache aux confins du quotidien.
